Field of application:

• Used in systems with a converter load over 50% of the total load
• Filters self-generated harmonics
• Filters the 5^th;7^th;11^thand 13^th harmonics up to 90%
• The filter circuits can only be combined with power factor correction units with reactor connected capacitors.

 
Principles:

• The branches can be switched manually or via a central control command
• Electric interlocks enable the branches for higher order harmonics to be switched in not until those for the lower order harmonics have already been switched in.
• Filter circuits compensate inductive power with their capacitor rating.

 
Characteristics:

• Ready for connection with ventilation slots and degree of protection IP20
• If required, they can be combined from seperate filter circuits
• Depending on their individual rating tey consist of one or several branches
